Boating in Tiger\'s back yard...

How y'all doin'?

Thermometer reads 97 degrees here in Orange County, Florida, and HWMO and I are borrowing bro-in-law's weird, flat-bottomed metal fishin' boat on Tuesday to potter around the small lakes in Windermere (such a romantic sounding name...), west of central Orlando. One of the lakes backs on to Tiger Woods' homestead.

Should we be covering ourselves and little boat in camo, taking along high-powered binoculars and spying on the rich and famous golf personage? Will a 3HP Mercury get us planing into his back yard? What is this 'golf' anyway? Is it dangerous? And should we be swimming in a lake where 'gators are nesting?

Please help.

PS. Don't tell my mum about our new boat...

Justine

Re: Boating in Tiger\'s back yard...

Golf.. Land based allegory for sailing, in which the participants zig-zag haphazardly down a fairway as though tacking. Rough etc. representing rocks and shoals. Tiger Woods hasn't got the idea though, he just blasts from point A to point B, must be a mobo man!

Have a great time.
