I managed to get out for a few hours Monday morning for a quick trip over to Osborne Bay, headed out singlehanded from Saxon Wharf, could not believe how flat calm the Solent was, you will also spot a certain forumite heading passed me on Southampton Water, at least I think it was him.

Nice few hours out in October wearing a t-shirt..

Great video Matt, and great therapy for those of us who can't get out very often. Lovely looking boat too, petrol or diesel? Would like to know a little more about her?

Thanks, she is a Crownline 250 with petrol Mercruiser 350 MAG on a Bravo 3. Typical American type style sports cruiser, recently I had fake teak (dek-king) installed which totally transformed how she looks.

You are getting really good with your videos Matt. Nice! I am off to Cherbourg at the weekend on a 9m rib and will have the GoPros out. I fear however the sea may not be so flat!

Thanks Matt. What's she like on fuel, unless of course that's a rude question these days? :)
If it hurts too much to post, maybe pm me, only I'm always toying with the idea of re-powering my 25.

Hi Sheppy stats I picked up elsewhere for this engine say 12gph at cruise and 24gph at WOT, I've never actually looked in great detail at the fuel consumption of my boat as I don't tend to cruise that far in her at the moment but these types of engine are supposed to be quite economical as far as petrol goes.

Great vid Matt. We had a trip out Sunday from Ocean Village to Medina river for lunch at the Folly Inn. Sat outside in the sun in shorts and T-shirts. Lovely!
Lets hope we gets some sunny Autumn days.
