Boating in France

Were just back from Brittany did some boating there,I was surprised that all the boats near us seemed to have no anchors ,no flares or lifejackets. We did the same not wanting to be the odd ones out.

Do you think we should have at least taken a VHF?

The Graham fish a close relative of the basking shark, usually spotted in Bristol Channel waters.

He seems to have sunk his boat. Doesn't look spotted to be, though. Just pink.
