Well it wasn't one of the three mentioned. Anyway whilst a club might 'suggest' a return to the old standards I cannot envisage any club ordering members to raise fenders between locks.

Read your daughters article, v good. One thing got me wondering though, what size were the jerry cans you took to the filling station? I was imagining the metal 20ltr jobs, you used 2, and then added another 80, meaning you have a 120 ltr tank. Unless of course you used 20 getting to the filling station. Or i cant read. Or i cant do maths, all of which are worryingly plausible...

Seriously though, I would commend any Thames club doing anything to raise standards, as long as they bear in mind the constraints of certain vessels, or in Ramages case, crew /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
