Regarding Tony complaining that the post rate has dropped, I thought I'd tell you all, what I'm up to over the next couple of days...
1. Off to Chichester tomorrow (tonight maybe) to spend four hours or so going round and around the marina to practice parking and mooring - should be fun as SWMBO has no clue and I'm not much better. For the benefit of KevB I will be doing all the docking stuff on K. Wouldn't want to hit one of my neighbours boats now would I <G>. Then it's off to the club to pay my subs and have a few beers. I might even move the tins of beer / food around so she doesn't list quite as much.
2. Saturday WX permitting it's a cruise in company to Brighton. Can't wait to get going with the new toy. And as there will be a few other boats I can concentrate on enjoying myself whilst they navigate <G>. Saturday night should be a meal with a few quiet drinks - all though having seen how the club parties I might be outclassed and slightly in the wrong.
3. Sunday - not a clue but the Brighton posse have been advised we are in their marina so I fear it will be pretty fuzzy by close of play. A pal on the train said that the pier is the place to take short person. We will see.
4. Monday - I presume cruise back to Chichester. Sit in the cockpit and laugh at everyone packing their boat up. I'm off the rest of the week. Boating / Drinking / Seeing the sights...
So Tony - don't expect me to post much next week <G>
The correct phraseology is "Are we insured..." NOT "Were we insured"
