Im minded to buy an open grp boat. It's a With 300 (same as With 375, but older).
Its a stable boat with planing capabilities on very little power (they reckon 20 knots with a 15 HP) and supposedly has a good reputation. Anyone have any experience of them. What sort of money would it cost? (being reasonable and not trying to steal it). It's not immaculate but scrubs up well.
No trailer or motor.

They fetch a lot of money in Salcombe but I have seen them on e-bay for a couple of hundred pounds. They are quick and well built. Like many dinghies you will need to step into the centre of the boat to board. They are a bit `tippy.`

When I was much younger they were a popular boat with a reputation for being able to be driven fast with small horsepowers. The internal cockpit/deck moulding gives inherent buoancy built-in so good for kids as well. If it's cheap it's a good boat.

They do fetch a lot of money anywhere in south devon, probably one of the best dinghies around, plane quickly and reasonably tough. Loads of local fishermen use them for putting out pots and the like. bit narrow for some people but I think thats what makes thems so good and quick.

Were do you find all these nice little boats??? I would love to have something to potter on the River here for picnics and days out.... That looks pretty good... you could rig up a custom bimini, add a coolbox and plonk my little mariner on the back......
