Could someone please explain the route the water travels on the raw water side of a volvo kad 32 engine and where I might find all of the drain plugs to drain the system whilst it is out of the water.
In the past I have always got the marine engineer to winterise it but now the boat has been moved to another mariner and as you may of noticed from all of my recent questions I am trying to learn to do things myself.

Thanks.

Type in 'Kad32' and you'll get the user manual which has diagrams of all drain points.

When winterising, I also remove the impeller and release the tension from the belts.

Also, although it's more 'service' side, I tend to replace the oils (engine and supercharger) and anti-freeze at the end of the season so as that there's fresh stuff 'sitting' in the engine over the winter.

Get on to a PC / MAC and you'll be able to download the manual, it'll be useful going forward
