It's not the yellow triangle, i know about that. The computer thingy says BAS and the little light is the bottom left corner says BAS/ACC or something like that.
ok, turn the engine on, and haul the wheel all the way to the left, and then all the way to the right. I think this clears the fault warning. Dunno who BAS is tho.
There's a shop in la napoule with info, looks the total biz, and mrs L would swoon. Dunno how much. I bet 220k new, but it says that POA on the david lewis yachts site.
will that also clear the fault? I can clear the fault warning by pushing the clear button. I just want the problem to go away. Like when i have a noise in the engine, i turn up the radio - sorted! no noise!
'Shop' in La Nap is 'DSMaritime' , owned by David Skellon. Gorgeous young thing working reception!! MrSkellon is one-Time naval architect and (more successfully) ex airline Plane Jockey. Infamous to SWMBO for not being able to order 'Cafe' en francais despite living in Antibes for 10 years. same people as are based In antibesin Rue????
That's the property that Yachting Park used to have isn't it?
Mrs L has seen the one parked putside ( I said €400000),,, love the Aquariva though ... went around at Cannes BS.
Oh go on Wakeup give them a call and find out how much the fake Aquarama is ...
Do not worry about it, put something in front of the light, so you can't see it. The ABS system if it fails, fails safe, in the normal mode, so no ABS, but the brakes work fine, you're safe to drive home.
oh yes, that's it, it's the Brake assist, like ABS but better.
My wheel-turning things is to clear persistent warning lights that come on later, when inapplicable. The clear button clears the page but the "little sheet of paper" light means that the fault message is still there: the whel turning clears it, if needs be.
OK Learner, so I'll give em a call and ask them how much are they charging for an under the counter Aquarama and tell that you recommended them as a really good source for dodgy one off copies if that's ok with you.
I mean how difficult would be to produce a good looking copy, don't need to build the whole thing in wood, could clad a fibre glas hull with a few sheets of marine ply, snad of the edges, a few chrome lamps and bit n bobs of a ford anglia and there you have it a boat fit for Briget Bardot.....
I'll get to woke on my maxum this weekend, ply, filler, trip to scrappy, advert in next months MBY and £200k better off.
Correct me if I'm wrong but theboatto whichone alludes is an facta GRP version itself sans-cladding but plastic has been colouredcorrectly ...I THINK (???)
If not ...damn good job these eyeties do of making wood look like GRP , now why hadn't everyone else thought of that?? Boat manufacturing modernised as manufacturers learn art of makingwood look like GRP.

Dont worry Pauline, the car will go fine. Not sure about the stopping though!! Na dont worry. Just means theres a fault in the ABS thingy. Get it fixed some time.
What ever do you think you were doing out of the home by yourself /forums/images/icons/smile.gif
But seriously. It may be just me but when I drive a car I do like the comfort of having brakes that are working 100%. Not just for my safety but the safety of others so I really would suggest that you give the Merc dealer a ring and tell em to get it fixed now. I can't agree with any of the other posts telling you that it will be OK and not to worry, poor advise IMHO. /forums/images/icons/shocked.gif
KevL - Worried about the safety of others.

It may be the early bird that catches the worm but its the second mouse that gets the cheese.
if it was a problem it would give you a message telling you to get the hell into a merc dealer now! and you get an orange engine sign flashing at you.......
other options seem to include 'get there sometime' and, alternatively 'you have the following fault.......' ie your call.
I have also had the get there sometime appear after some element of the ESP has come into play ('cos I was enjoying myself....) only to clear when the ignition is turned off and then on again.
