Looking for recommendations to move merry fisher off the non tidal Thames where she is stuck due to Hammersmith bridge closure
.She is 8.1 meters long and 3 meters wide to big for a car trailer as she weights around 4 tons

I can’t see any 8m merry Fisher weighing 4 tonnes. My 755 was delivered by trailer from the Medway a few years back . That was doable as it was under 3 tonne. Are you 100% on your weight?

Yeah far too big for current regs then. But you knew that. The regs must have changed since mine was delivered by trailer behind a land cruiser . Or the guy did it illegally but he was a broker so wouldn’t have thought so ??‍

Presume you have seen all the recent correspondence on this subject fro Hammersmith and Fulham council, PLA, ATYC etc et???
If not, then many on here can help if you need it. A "breakout" is being planned as we speak but you need to ensure your details are with the Council, like now! Im sure you have but pm if you need to. Good luck

It does make me wonder how people this this get away with continually breaking the law by towing boats they know are way over the legal weight limit, about time for more prosecutions and leave this kind of work to the professionals who are prepared to run their businesses legally.
