Maybe Halcyon would deliver it by sea for less?

I'd recommend that route, Halcyon did Falmouth to Dublin for me last year for a very reasonable fee. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Sounds sensible. Dublin to W Cork then NW round Kerry H and E up the Shannon to Limerick Docks isn't a big deal if weather reasonable.
Drop the mast in Limerick Docks (or Askeaton a few miles SW if crane needed) and motor up to Killaloe.
Just check that the Ardnacrusha Hydro station isn't running 4 turbines - progress upstream then impossible.
