I have just moved my boat (20th-21th of this month) from The Norfolk Broads to The Hamble, I booked a Trainer/Captain to come with me and he called it an Assisted Passage.
It was an amazing trip and I have learned so much about our boat in a short space of time.
I have also worked out the cost and it was much cheaper to motor all the way. I have now also completed over 200 miles at sea so this will also count towards my Yacht Masters in the future if I decide to do it.
Think of it as an amazing adventure and take the plunge you won't be disappointed. I am still on cloud nice and have a huge feeling of achievement.
