Here are the extras for boat test in the May issue of Yachting Monthly.

The main page of the Beneteau Oceanis 34 is for 360º images of all the cabins and cockpit. This page also has a link to Oceanis 34 Gallery for more pictures taken during the boat test, details, sailing shots etc and there is also the video of her sailing, which you can also watch below

The magazine is out later this week with 11 pages about Scotland, and a 10 page test on 15 folding, feathering and fixed propellers all tested on one boat, with performance on the water, a static pull in forwards and reverse, prop walk and stopping time, all tested, recorded and printed, it's a good read /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm impressed - wish I could get a spinnaker up and down that quickly. The only time I've got a spinnaker down in less than ten seconds we wasted 20 minutes going back to collect it. What exactly is the chap on the bow doing at about 1m 10 secs in though?

In all seriousness I do like the short videos but it would be really great if we could have some from on the boat showing what it's like to work in under way. I appreciate that I'm probably being a little unreasonable here and should be damned grateful for what I've got.

I quite like the view from the chase boat, it is the first beno I can honestly say, looks good. they have got rid of that standard horribly low saloon / Lewmar window combo and their cut to size look..

Sorry if this offends the squillion and a half beno owners, but this new boat is fresh and finally a breath of fresh air. I wonder if the bav stable will follow suit as they seem to copy beno shape and size. This is all personal opinion, something I am sure I am still allowed..?

You most certainly are allowed to have a personal opinion. Long live democracy!

Signed by a very satisfied Beno owner, possibly one of the squillion and a half, completely unoffended by you remarks. /forums/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
