Dinas Boatyard, Port Dinorwic
Dickies of Bangor (now at Port Penrhyn)
&
Anglesey Boat Co, Beaumaris
Or join a club;
Rhyl have some stroage place, but not sure if any are free
North West Venturers CC have a hard standing at Gallows point nr Beaumaris.
If it's on a trailer, you cold try approaching a few farmers, most will be glad of a little extra cash.
If it's in the water, lay, borrow or buy a mooring at Red Wharf Bay or in the Straits, or sail it to Caernarfon in early Nov to be lifted out for the winter on the Slate Quay (you'll need to book for that)

The whole of Gallows Point storage is under the control of ABC Boatyard ( different number from the ABC Powermarine arm). Without prior written permission from then you cannot get hauled out. If you do winter there its worth joining the NWVYC so that you can use the excellent facilities including the winter talks and socials.
Moorings in northern part of Straits and Red Wharf Bay are under the control of Anglesey County Council.

Yeah, OK for the boatyard, but what about the shingle in front of the sheds on the N side of the point? I understood that was not part of the boatyard, but I am happy to be corrected if they have taken it over.

Talk to Jon, the marina manager at Conwy marina and see what he can do for storage in the yard. He's very accommodating and may be able to do a no marina deal for you.

The area north of the boatsheds, now largely demolished, was run for many many years by Anglesey Council but two years ago they let the area to ABC who have run it since then and are currently carrying out redevelopment of the sheds on the Point and effectively as I said now responsible for all boat storage on the Point.

Sorry to hear of the "redevelopment". All of the rest of the "redevelopment along the Straits has significantly ruined the place! Watkin-Jones' flats at the old oil jetty by Victoria Dock & his monstrous home by Plas Menai being two notable examples. I wait in trepidation for what he is about to do to the old Dickie's yard.

If your boat is bilge keel or lifting keel and "near Conwy" can extend to Bangor, there is a small yard to the left of the pier as you look across to Anglesey that stores very cheaply I think it was £6 per week in 2004 so it might have gone up a bit since.

Couldn't agree more about the eyesore at Caernarfon which has ruined the view coming up the Straits. Now if the Prince of Wales wants an example of a carbuncle that is one and next to a World Heritage Site .How the son was allowed to enlarge a stone cottage to such a degree and in such an unsympathetic manner beggars belief.
ABC are replacing the sheds with sheds and taking the opportunity to rationalise the garage forecourt. I understand Malcolm in the fishing shop will be moving to his own bespoke premises on the site.
