Hi everyone, I've recently come across the idea of swapping boats for a holiday. So basically getting a zero cost charter.

Put simply: I'll host you or you can use my boat in the UK if I can be hosted by you elsewhere. Both parties win, no accommodation costs, you get a boat to play with and we get each other's knowledge of the area. I certainly know some amazing areas nobody would ever know about without having a boat here.

Would be amazing to meet some of you guys from around the world!

PM me or reply and get in touch if you fancy this!

So what sort of boat have you got, where is it and how long have you been sailing? All very pertinent questions if someone is going to let you loose in their pride and joy.

I think you need to give us some more information.

I’ve got a lovely wayfarer dingy that you would be welcome to use but I’m only interested if you have a squadron 78 custom :)

I think the OP might be hiding his light under a bush. Or he is full of it.:p A bit of research is called for methinks, unless he's going to tell us more about his boat and himself. Common lad don't be shy, put a toe in the water so to speak, it isn't that cold.

Head of Client Engagement.

Someone I assume suggested seeding forums. He just didn't do it very well!

He also has a listing

Note only he skippers it ! On a 33 foot boat overnight is going to get cosy!

On a separate topic I have offered foam members i know my boat, and had people offer me theirs so If I know the person I am happy - but blind swap would not be for me.

If you skipper it I suspect you might be getting into coded territory but I dont know as i have never had need to look into it.

I think there maybe other complications. For example, my French registered boat would need a skipper with French recognized qualifications
