Boat Sales

I walked past a shop selling some net curtains the other day though and stopped to admire them. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Next you will start thinking that a nice cardi would be a good thing to have, and also one of those giant slippers that you can put both feet in at once!

And next you'll be telling me that Broom 30's come complete with a knitting kit and rocking chair. Can't fool me /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

You will have to check on the standard equipment spec with the brokers (or No Regrets).

He certainly has them, along with the net curtains and flowers, on his boat!

Ah , but the big question is , does it have a fruit bowl , and what is in it ....

This is the way that lock-keepers judge the position on the social ladder of the boater /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

We have a fruit bowl.

What's in it?

Business cards, fuses, a light bulb, a couple of aa batteries (probably dead), at least on decayed grape, some buttons, several mobile phone chargers, an unwanted 13amp plug with a couple of inches of flex, some leaflets for various places on the river, a roll of insulating tape, some pens and possibly a pencil(but with a broken tip so it wont write. Probably a few more odds and sods but of little value.

When I first came on the river it took me a while to adjust to the fact that before casting off one didn't have to store everything breakable. Then I quite enjoyed being able to have things like a fruit bowl though I have to confess my contents were a mirror image of Tony's.

"what goes on in these aft cabins reserved for those of 50 plus years"
The same as wot goes on in the forepeak cabins of lesser craft...
Trust me.....absolutely b...gger all apart from lots of snoring.

Suppose fruit bowls can come in handy whilst sitting in the aft cabin just in case elderly owners get caught short.
Just remember not to leave your banana in the bowl afterwards /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I have recently bought a boat from Adam Straw at Boatsales247 based at windsor racecourse marina, he was very useful informative and would happily recommend talking to him.

if you google boatsales247 you should find him.

All the best, simon

Simon, did you get the 27 or the 31??

Just had a look at Boatsales 247

Most of the boats advertised are sold. Very annoying though as you only find out once you click on a boat you are interested in. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif
Remove the sold boats!!
