I would like to publicly thank the 'joe front' that raced down the River Blackwater in his motor cruiser at around 1715hrs on Sept 20th. I should guess he was doing in excess of 20 knots where the limit is 8 Knots. The massive wash created as he roared downstream caused all moored craft to pitch and roll severely; onboard my yacht a newly opened bottle of wine was sent crashing to the floor and a hot soldering iron also fell onto the saloon carpet making a nice burn. So many thanks 'friend' for your unseamanlike action. I just hope that you are never in need of assistance when I am nearby because to coin an expression ' I would't **** on you if you were on fire' - nothing personal of course!

If it is any consolation, the owner of a large gin palace from a Rochester marina, was fined recently for speeding on the Medway. It was a sustantial amount the total costs ran into thousands of pounds to include the damage he caused. We have two video cameras which cover the river from Limehouse to Chatham reach.Difficult to deny when you have been caught on camera.

Hello and welcome to your first post on Motor Boat Chat.

I don't think I've heard of boat called "Joe Front", and where is Blackwater. Do you know his user name on here??
Anyway I'm delighted that the MBC has given you public forum to "vent your anger" - when you feel able we would welcome you to get to know some of us on here and learn that in every walk of life there are good guys and bad guys.

Also I dont think you really wanted to thank him - did you ?? and hes not realy your friend now is he.

ps May I suggst you fill in your profile - it does go a long way to personalising the forums.
