That might be a Topper, somebody correct me if not!

If by 'plug' you mean a bung for a drain-hole, you'll find that
a) they tend to be standard fittings so any decent chandlery/swindlery will see you right
b) you can probably use a wine cork as a makeshift bung for just now.

Happy sailing!

The dinghy resembles either a 470 or Kestrel or a Crusader. The 470 uses a trapeze for sitting out and keeping the boat upright, the other two don't The sail symbols are picture of a wing for the Kestrel; numbers 470 for that dinghy; a Crusaders head(similar to the Daily Express titles ) All three are good performers and need practice to sail well.
The Kestrel was designed by Ian Proctor a prolific designer of all types of dinghy and small yachts too.The Wayfarer is one of his designs and used for sail training.
The Kestrel is faster than the Crusader ,but slower than the 470; all three can have spinnakers rigged.
The 470 is one of the Olympic classes and needs a good team to sail very well.
I'm guessing yours is 14 to 16ft long and 6ft wide?

p.s regarding the "plugs, aren't they under the dinghy there?! as said above they are pretty standard kit ,if in doubt take the one you have with you to the chandlery.

Dinghy type

Definitely not a Topper, Kestrel or 470
Looks a bit like a 420 but doesn't seem right somehow. I agree it has a French look about it. Dimensions might help to identify it - or at least rule out some of the possibilities
