Hi, I am trying to find out what is my boat worth. It is a stirling 15ft approximately with johnson evinrude vro 60
with hallmark trailer.

Look on Ebay classified.
High number of similar types of craft.
Will give you a fairly accurate and realistic idea of what your boat is actually likely to sell for.
You can place and add for 30 days for £15.00.
Probably not worth getting broker involved and most buyers of speedboats will not be looking on the free boaty websites for this size of boat.

Boats and outboards does however have a large number of speedboats for sale. Beware of the scammers and their low prices that can cause you to drive the price of your boat down. They are easy to spot. Only one picture in the advert

These are the few pictures I can put on because the file sizes are too big. Please can someone tell me roughly a price I would be looking at to sell this for?

Thanks for that guys only problem I have is that the engine starts and runs but I believe lacks power under load. Any ideas or should I sell as is? Personally would be happy with 2K

I am afraid the engine problem knocks the price down a lot. I would think now ask £1999 and expect to get £1,500. With a boat like you have the engine is everything

Absolutely that is why I said 2K £500 less than what big plumbs said. It is difficult one ideally interested party needs to come down start it mess about with it and make an offer.

Those are quite robust engines. Its probably something daft like old/contaminated fuel or not mixing correctly. Loads of forums out there about them. Whilst I appreciate the 'engine is everything' - someone could pick up a bargain if they knew what they were doing. Apparently some of them have a primer pump solenoid setting which you can over ride and if its in the wrong position it will run too rich and will lack in power.

Can anyone point in right direction to check above out if it is not too difficult.

Best bet is in the US. Lots of places sell service kits and even with duty and shipping it's still cheap. Might want to strip it and clean it first to see what's wrong though if the gaskets have perished you need to know you're getting replacements or you'll have to get something made up.
