Planning on getting the boat serviced over the next few weeks, and whilst it is out on the hard I may get someone to give the boat a good polish (she has never been done in the 5 years we have owned her).
Have spent a good 5 hours today jet washing and scrubbing her, but she could do with having a good shine up.

Can anyone here recommend anybody to do it, so I can start looking into prices.

Boat is based at Bray marina.

I detailed Rascal Joe myself. Marina jet washed her then I did a simple three stage process:
- machine polish (dual action polisher to remove old wax and clear swirl marks)
- hand removed a few tar (or similar) deposits (using WD40!)
- applied Autoglym HD wax and buffed up (not sure this is the best wax available but I did have it in 'stock' and it can be left to dry before buffing)
She now looks as good as new! Total time: about five hours in three sessions (for 10m hull).
Note: she is now back in the water and I will wax the superstructure when convenient)

I don't know what GR use, but I only washed the boat half a dozen times all last year, and she always looked good!

When I polish things, it doesn't seem to last that long!
