Boat photos clog Email

I am trying to send an Email which includes 15 photos of my boat and my computer wont send the email. I now know that I should have shrunk the photos as the size of the Email is 14 big bites or something. The problem is that the Email is sitting in my "Outlook Express" and I want to delete it but it wont let me and says that "Outlook has allready begun to transmit the message" but its been doing it since yesterday.
How do I get it to stop so I can start again.
Please.

Go offline, outlook express should time out after a minute, otherwise use the task manager and kill it.

Then open OE, cancel the send receive before it starts and go to the outbox and delete.

If you are using Windows XP, do a search for Powertoys "image resizer" and install.

Now, if you right click on the photos you can resize them in windows explorer OR if you send them to Email recipient a box will popup asking you to make a resized copy to send via email.

If you are using or are going to use Windows 7, you can get a Windows 7 Image resizer program which will do the same job.

Are the photos 14 MB each (possible with a multi-megapixel digital camera and the image resolution set way too high), or 14 MB in total? If the former then they are way too large to send by email, and you will need to use the image resizer as recommended above.

If its only 1 MB each, then send 4 or 5 emails each with only 2 or 3 photos attached - seemples.

Don't do this if you are sending to multiple recipients - bear in mind each person has to have the email sent from your PC separately even though you only send it once - so if you copy in 50 mates, with 10 MB of photos attached to an email, your PC has to upload 500 MB of data in order to send it all. You'll appreciate why OE trips out when you try to do this.
