Hi all,

Our boat could realy do with a new coat of paint the 70,s beige just isnt doing it for me.

Idealy I would like a blue hull with all white on the topsides. However I have no idea how much this would cost. Does anyone have any idea or could someone recomend a good painter on the Thames.

The boat is a 25ft Shetland 760 with a hardtop.

Many thanks
Matt

Hmmm...danger is, the nice new stuff will fall off leaving the hearing aid beige shining through!

Best stick with it, judging by new Antaris's, beige is coming back!

Good polish...new navy blue canopy, you'll be in lurve all over again!

I was always taught never to paint a glass boat. It devalues them, perhaps others will comment.
Certainly a stripe/flash can be painted but an overall jobbie. . . . ??

It's a bit like the bow thruster

For a good job it will be more than the boats worth, try to love it and live with it, give it a name, our old pub Shetland was green and called Olive, you may have to be a bit more imaginative with the brown though...
