Boat owner again

After several months of searching up & down the south coast I've got myself another boat

I've bought a 1999 Larson 290, fitted with a pair of Volvo kad32's, she's done 460 hours and from new. until 2012 she has been kept in freshwater and has full service history.

She's currently in hayling island. The plan is to have some general servicing carried out up there & then bring her to her new home in Weymouth by water.

I must say a big thank you to Brian and his family at Jaykay Marine, his setup is really nice and NOTHING is too much trouble for them, really friendly and happy to go the extra mile

Looks like a nice boat and twin kad32s is a proven package at that size.

Good idea to get the mechanicals given the once over before a longish trip

Thanks guys. I'd looked at the ubiquitous sealine s28/targa29 but our dog (10 stone newfoundland ) wouldn't be able to negotiate the steps leading into the cabin!
The build quality maybe isn't as good as our previous searay, or doral/crownline but I'm happy nonetheless.

One thing that sold it to me was the unusual ( for the size ) cabin layout of two fixed berths & large dinette area, instead of the usual vberth setup

Our first boat was a Larson 254 and we never had an issue with the build quality.. If anything I have had more "quirks" to sort out on our new Merry Fisher than I did with the Larson from a build perspective..

I have bought and sold through Brian and Jaykay over the years a great family run business totally committed to selling boats. In fact I've just listed my present Fairline phantom 43 with them.
