Boat not selling in Spain

if you are still happy to hang on to it you will never sell it unless you get a silly offer

Perhaps I should have said "I am prepared to hang on to it" as I have commitments for the summer to have a boat. My wife is no longer able to crew for me hence the need to downsize to a smaller boat to enable me to sail single handed if need be.

Have you thought about renting it out to cover some expenses in the meantime? I did that with mine on harbourspot.com and it was a pretty good deal.
