Boat namer!

do you mean someone to make a graphic stick-on ?

Or do you want a witch doctor to conduct a ceremony ?;)

Have used 'Funky Monkey Boat Names' in the past without problem.

They have a good interactive website whereby you can design your preferred lettering and shadow effect.:)

Hi,
I am renaming my boat and am after a reliable person to do it? Can anyone recommend please?

http://www.boatvinyls.co.uk/.

This is run my Adam Straw at Boatsales 247 and based at Windsor Racecourse Marina. Adam can do do basic ones whilst you wait but names with shading take a bit longer. Also very reasonably priced and will fit then for you.

Pop in and see him and have a chat.

Do it yourself! its really easy, the graphics are pre cut and come on a backing paper you just stick it in place with some masking tape when you are happy it in the right place peel off the backing paper slowly. Its really easy.

Absolutely. They're so easy to apply, don't waste your money paying someone to do it for you; it really is a DIY job.

We also used Funky Monkey and stuck it on ourselves, if you wander down your pontoon a bit further you can see what it looks like.

We also did the unnaming and naming ceremony, pontoon empty when we started and then people started appearing. Didn't feel an idiot at all both of us standing on the front deck, reading out the ceremony while pouring champagne on the boat!! :o

Depends where your sticking the graphic, judging by the number of slanted or wonky names you see some peeps find it very difficult :)

I had my names for the bow made up with a curve that allowed for the shape of the bow so that when you stuck them on the string of letters straightened out, fortunately I have sticker makers at work so was able to get it done properly and play on the PC before getting them cut. If you don't have them put on the backing paper that way you can cut it and stick each letter individualy to a marked line, its not that hard but sometimes not as simple as just slapping it on there, depends on the shape of the boat.
