Whilst I'm presently in the process of buying a boat (and also having a very pleasant holiday whilst doing so) this makes one focus on the myriad of boaty issues you thought you already knew and, in very many cases, had forgotten about.
So this led me today to re-read over a few Rum & Cokes the excellent Boat Keeper series by Terry Johnson.
I invite all that attend this forum to read and (re-)digest this simple but excellent series. OK so its primarily for American fishermen but the principles very largely apply to us in the UK too.
BTW I do have Terry's explicit permission to re-distribute this in the UK after he kindly responded a few years ago to an email asking this specific question.
