Boat Jumble Question

Sadly SWMBO and I have swallowed the anchor and bought a caravan.We are thinking about selling the vestiges of our boat gear at a Boat Jumble.

Are there any do's and dont's we ought to bear in mind?

Should we put put price tags on everything or wait for people to ask how much?

Advice on all those sorts of things would be very much appreciated.

Personally, I wouldn't sell any of it too quickly, you might not like the caravan or may be able to persuade SWMBO that a small boat would be nice in addition to the caravan. Put it all in a corner of the garage for now.

Personally I prefer price tags - but don't be too ambitious. Obviously you'll have to barter but stick to your bottom price!

You might consider selling it on eBay. Fairly simple and safe.

We took the plunge and took our bits and bobs to Plymouth Boat Jumble yesterday.Sold everything and drove back up the M5 with £500 to go towards kitting out the caravan. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
