Has anyone ever tried to sell anything at ipswich boat jumble ?
Does any one go to said Jumble ?
Have accrued load of bits that ought to be cleared, many to heavy or bulcky ( no idea how to spell) to be economic on flebay ( or should that have 2 e )

Been a few times, its generally better that the Colchester version, and we've picked up some nice bargains. There always seem to be a few private sellers there doing business and plenty of punters browsing.

Would you like to give us forum members a list of goodies you might take? call it a preview.;)

I went last year and I thought it was very poor and certainly not worth the admission charge. It was only the adjoining plant fair which was free to get in that made the whole trip worth while

It's the only one I've been to, as it's the nearest, there are too many miles away. Therefore, I wasn't sure what to expect and I managed to get some bits from the private sellers, if that one was poor, I'd like to go to a good one, but they are just too far away.

Looking forward to it now. Good budget, but will probably come home still having not spent much. There were some dealers there at the last one who I thought were a bit dear, I'm hoping for a good turn out of the shed clearout types. They are normally the most interesting and will haggle more.;)

Yes, I got what I wanted...cleats, pelican hooks (although I think I had the only two pelican hooks on the site, and they took some hunting down, one on one stall and another on another, the ones with locking rings). saw a boom cover that I quite fancied, but didn't go prepared enough to buy it, as I wanted other things and that would have been a vanity purchase, but got his ph number in case he didn't sell it. There was a woman there promoting will advice..didn't see anybody talking to her.;);)

No, I don't think there were. It was on first stand on right after entry.

I thought it was a good boat jumble - not too much new stuff there. Well worth the entry price.
