I've just got this notice from my local club, might be of interest to some?

Burnham RNLI (in aid of the Floating Boathouse Appeal) is organising a
Boat Jumble on Saturday 26th March at the Burnham Sailing Club from 10am
to 2pm. Pitches cost £10, visitors will be charged 20p entrance and
refreshments will be available in the clubhouse. Posters are already in
evidence around the town, but there is still room for for more vendors
and you can never have enough publicity!
If you have any old stock/ sailing gear you don't need/ need more room
in the garage/ turn it into money, please contact
roger.noble@btopenworld.com or call 01621 783934 to book a pitch.

£10 is quite a lot unless you have plenty to sell. I've got some bits (who hasn't) that I'd be happy to donate to a stall where RNLI get all the money. Do you know if they have that?

Roger, shall we talk about a combined stall?
We can have a round table discussion this weekend and maybe organise a real RNLI raiser.

I have heard that many times, but never seen the evidence.

Our CCTV cameras at Marconi S.C have picked up 'hooded figures' trying locks etc. last month, just before the Essex Boat Jumble and there are reports from other local clubs of stolen equipment...there is evidence , whether or not this ties in with Boat Jumble Season I don't know??? e-bay is there 24/7, but it is the begining of the sailing season...caveat empore! (sic)
