Boat Insurance - Trailed Boat

Being over 50 I was able to get a quote on my boat from Saga. Have they made a mistake. Its £100 a year. 21ft Motor Cruiser,80hp Inboard Diesel, 9hp Auxiluary on an expensive trailer plus electronics. Sum insured £22000 If correct it certainly makes trailing a boat an inexpensive option.

Hmm, my 21ft Motor Cruiser with a 6hp aux and trailer plus electronics is £193.20 with £160.00 excess on £20,000 value. This year I will be asking Saga for a quote.

That appears incredibly competitive, have they covered the trailer ? or assumed that it is covered by your car insurance. Worth checking out.
