Boat insurance newcomer

Really keen to hear what you guys make of this - does it stand up to close scrutiny?
Could save smaller boat owners a few quid, but obviously the 49ft limitation will be a problem for some members of this parish...

Lots of talk of how cheap it is and discounts that are available but little content on why it might be the policy we boat owners want.

I would imagine they know the market well enough to know that the majority buy insurance on price. It's not right, but that's the way it is for most.

IMHO this insure4yachts policy is truly awful. I'm going just by the policy on their website. It's perhaps the worst I've ever seen. It's written very sloppily with multiple typos in important clauses, combined with an inability even to construct sentences properly. In places, some very important like the coverage at anchor limitation, you have to guess what its author meant. It is just the most awful thing IMHO and people should steer very clear of it.

I've just taken a policy though Matt at Y insure. Service was perfect... felt like he was one of MY staff!

Y. Never claimed but policy wording is good and all my email questions are answered within 10 minutes.
