Boat Insurance again

As you can see, it's tempting to jump ship to Y yachts but no racing cover at all. I do get racing cover with Yachline, but not for the rig. (That would have cost an eye watering £900 more).

Conclusion: Looks like I'm staying where I am with Yachtline.

Did Y flatly refuse to cover any racing? Their standard renewal letter says they no longer cover serious racing and those already with club racing cover will have a 10% increase.

Having had a couple of UK quotes of £450 ish (3% of hull value) which imo is just ridiculous.
I have just now had an email quote from a Greek company of €113 which I have accepted. This is just for Greek territorial waters which is not a problem for me.

That's one of the quotes I'm waiting on, a local Marine insurance Co' in the Ionian.

Thank you for your patience, we have received underwriters responses regarding racing, unfortunately this is not covered

So, that's that then....
