boat identity

What are your intentions with the boat?
Fit out the maybe front cabin and use it as a fast cruiser with inboard or lightly fit it out, fit an outboard or two and get places really fast ?
I bought a 21ft avenger hull that would have had an inboard.
Cut down the transom and built an outboard well. Bought a fast fishing boat with a 200hp, sold the fast Fisher so the outboard only owed me £400.
Fitted out the interior all for less than 1k and put the 200 on the back.
Was a very fast boat. Sold it at the end of the summer for a lot of profit.

Ye I would like to fit it out as a fast cruiser for me and the family to use then sell it on. I'm trying to find out what boat it is just to get some ideas

No that's not the engine. I'm trying to source one at the moment just not sure what to go for
Before you go down the engine route you need to have the hull checked by some one in the know it could be rotten , don’t the person who are giving it to you, know anything about it . Ok let’s start at the beginning how do you get it from where it is , you need a trailer , do you have any diy skills , especially mechanical engineering. Is there any holes underneath where the engine was , if not it has never seen water.

No they no nothing about it. It hasn't ever seen the water.
I run a building firm with decorators, carpenters many other trades that can do bits.
There are no holes in the hull at all

I do need to get a trailer. At the moment it is on a rolling cradle and will soon be put into my workshop once we have made the doors bigger.

Okso some one has bought a hull to home build maybe to race , if you are seri about building it it will cost but could be worth it . It is like old cars People have great intentions but never finish , the best way as suggested is get it converted to outboard. Where are you based.

Seen this on eBay few weeks back. if you can share some more photos, transom, sides and cockpit I reckon we can work out what it is ?

Its based in Westbury, Wiltshire. Why would convert it to outboard when it has been designed to take an inboard
Well with out the design it is all guess work , put it this way youneed under cover To work on it

Boats Are not like cars ie garage finds .

Well fair play , you have a lot to learn , have a look at Wayne’s world posts on here . Put a lot of photos on and you will get a lot of help and a lot of shit including what I have give you. Good luck

Check the dead rise. If an Arronow it will be 24 deg or there abouts. However why would a hull and bonded deck in the south of England be of American origin? Seems expensive way of building a dream boat . Lots of small yards in blighty knocking out performance hulls in the 80s and 90s. Some were pretty crap by the way , dodgy stringers and questionable lay up. Look what Colin chapman Produced. His cars were legendary but his boats fell apart . Just sayin!
