Hello All,

I've been restoring an old cabin boat, approx 19' length, no markings of any type, the previous owner coated her inside and out with fresh gelcoat, and I believe it was applied with a trowel!,
She's on the water and floating well, a little heavy on the stern, due to the 50hp lump, but I cant get her insured, because the insurance companies want a make and model.
I know she is Shetlend 535 in length and profile, but clearly she isn't a Shetland. Any Ideas? Thank you!

looks like a late sixtys norman except the front hatch
i had this problem years ago with an unknown boat on the canal. they were satisfied it looked factory made so didnt care who made it

looks like a picton but did they do a hull that large. most ive seen are 13-15 ft'
could be a norman that someone adapted to put the front hatch in when it went from river to sea to allow easy anchor setting.. just a guesss. check to see if area around hatch is modified.
