I need a new horn for my 36 foot dutch steel cruiser based on the Thames.

I understand a compressed air jobby will deliver the most decibels per buck.

Any recommendations - don't want to spend a fortune but it must look good on my newly repainted pride and joy and be loud enough to sound like a mans machine :D

To get any sort of oomph out of air-horns and a good low frequency note, the air has to be engine-supplied. So your local truck specialist should be your first port of call. There's one on the A4 just before you get to Thatcham but no doubt you will be able to locate one a bit nearer to you.
