Providing all goes well with survey we will shortly be moving a boat up from Croatia. There were a few Transport options but the most competitive was to go by sea from Croatia to Slovenia, lift it at Koper, take off the rudders and props then truck up to Southern Holland before putting it back together and sailing it back to Lowestoft.

The transport company are suggesting St.Annaland, does anyone know what facilities are available there? really don't fancy lifting in anything but a boat hoist and having never touched shafts or rudders before would prefer someone who knows what they are doing to put them back on.

If the facilities are not available at St. Annaland does anyone have a suggestion for another location in southern Holland that does have the facilities.

Thanks both, the boat is 43' and 10 ton, I know some may see that as small but an incorrect lift by a crane cost me on a 26' 3 ton boat when we first started, always try and head for a boat hoist nowadays in preference to a crane.

We are located in Sint Annaland! Mariteam Shipyard has a 80tons lift so don't worry. We, Novanta, specialised in motorboats can prepare your boat for the trip back to England.... your welcome!
