Boat Haulage

Can anyone recommend a reliable Boat Haulage company to transport a 12 metre boat from Reading to North Holland.

Thanks for your prompt response. I have used Interboat a few times over the past years and have found them to be very good. I will obviously consider them for this move, but just wondered if there were any reasonable alternatives - price wise that is!!

I used a company called Boat Transport Ltd to transport our from Weymouth, and I'm sure they do European transport as well. They seemed very on the ball and easy to deal with.

I have got a few quotes myself for same trip, but cheapest was 5K each way by road.

Also at the show, were a few Training/Nav Schools particularly one from the Medway.

Quote for Delivery of the boat by Yachtmaster skipper by boat was much less and possible option. I am certianly thinking about it.

We had our 58ft(17.6m) narrowboat transported from Stourport,Worcs to Ternauzen,Holland in March 2008. Great service from Gary Walker of Alabaster Bulk Haulage (Tel: 01629 540606). Put in the water at Vermeulen's Jachtwerf. The boss, Peter van der Werff speaks excellent English.
