Re: european linssen url

Thanks - unfortunately I cant understand either the Dutch or Slovak versions (how DO you create a language with so many consonants and so few vowels? God save anyone with false teeth).

The US site at least has some meaningful text and reviews, even if it doesnt have the arty photos. Neither has any details on the new 53, which will probably have the same accomodation volume as a 30 something sealine - but perhaps in rather better taste.

Phew, just in time - still in the cooling off period, I can cancell my (in my dreams) order for the Azimut 55.

Your right they're the biz (or to copy a boat name I spotted in the Algarve - The Muttz Nuttz !).

And here's me thinking they were Dutch barge like!

Thanks for the info.

Oh no - these are NOT Sturdys! A chum of mine is involved in the build process - he says he has seldom seen a spec so high outside the special Forces craft he builds, or superyachts (like the new Mirabella). The attention to detail is just astonishing. The fuel fillers lie in little 'lockers' under the teak sole. Lift a lid and your there, except the lid locks down has rubber seals, and the tank vent comes back to the same 'locker' - which is vented outboard so you dont have to smell the nasty jungle juice. Many boats have a stero as an option - the DS has a Bang & Olufsen HiFi (and TV) as the sound system. Quite, quite unbelievable - but then you'd expect it to be good for a bit over £500,000. Oh - and the VarioTop has an interlock so you cant damage it by playing with it at too high a speed. Maybe they should see Porsche whos new Turbo Cab can cope with roof games at 30 MPH ..

Oh no - these are NOT crawfords custard creams A chum of mine is involved in the build process, said Colin as he sat down for his tea. The attention to detail is just astonishing, but not up to Crawfords standards. The buscuits lay in a little 'lockers' under the teak sole. Lifting the lid and Colin was there, the lid locked down with a rubber seal which kept them nice and fresh. Colin switched on the stereo option - the DS has a Bang & Olufsen HiFi (and TV) as the sound system. Quite, quite, unbelievable thought mole, who had just clambered aboard. "Hello mole" said Colin. "Come and have some tea" As he said this, Colin reached into the little 'lockers' under the teak sole. Lifted a lid and reached for the fake custard creams. Eeerr. I think you'd better come and look at this screamed Mole!! Out of the corner of his eye, mole had spied Martyn, his head still extended six foot above his shoulders. Bearing down on Englander at nearly half the speed it would have been with two engines, however now a little faster because of the lack of cabin roof and superstructure.

Re: plot jump 1

Sudenly the plot moved to another part of the thread. A bit like it would be if there were lots of forums when one minute you were talking about custard creams

<hr width=100% size=1>

Re: plot jump2

and then in the next part of the sentence you went on to talk about antifouling. The thread would have to be all over the place, like this, wouldn't it?

Now with two Colins in the plot, things moved swiftly, albeit a bit confusingly. Colin Sco0tt, was still raving about his incredibly strong boat made of double skinned rebate jointed mahogany dowelled john bain designed oak with teak planking, when martyn whammed into the side of it, tipped the motorbike over, which burst into flames. Colin wasn't too bothered cos secretly he was a bit sick of banging on and on about wooden boats and quite fancied a decent Princess 480, or possibly a new beneteau 57. he nimbly jumped off the back of Englander just before it sank and jumped aboard martyns hacked-up sawn-off boat combo, and just managed to detach it from Englander before joining that on the seabed. Fortunately the seabed was only five feet down, so colin was soon ablke to jump back onto englander, and carry on with some more raving about wooden boats able to withstand everything that was thrown at it. Martyn experimentally chucked some more custard creams at Englander.

Martyn retracted his head as far as he could and realised thathe was now heading downstream at a fairly fast pace, and begane to think about more modifications. Since his re-engining from having two engines to just one had gone so well, he decided to (rathr tight-fistedly yet entirely Yorkshireishly) repeat the procedure and re-engined down to zero engines, saving loads of loot. This would solve the problem with the lump of pipe over the engine controls too...
