Hi guys. I found a boat by this dealer. Is there someone in here what have experience with this dealer?

First Class Nautical Ltd.

I am from DK and cant go to UK at the moment, so it could be a big help for me to know a little about this dealer.?

Thanks

Br Bo

Its a scam website. Ask to see one of the boats and wait for the excuses to prevent you from doing so. They will, of course, offer to take a deposit and ship the boat to you for your approval. Yeah right.

AVOID at all costs and whatever you do, don't send them any money!!!!

Thanks for your answer, I thought so! When I sent the 12620 GBP he would sent the boat to me on my adress in 10 days. Then I had 48 hours to make inspection. ;-) He told me transport cost was low because he loaded 6 boat at the time... I build truck with big crane and other equipment, non of theese can take 6 boats :-)

Thanks.. br. Bo

The company does exist, but is pretty much dormant.
That address is the address of their accountants.

FIRST CLASS NAUTICAL LIMITED - Overview (free company information from Companies House)

I'd be very surprised if that website is legitimate - note the missing "s" in the domain name, and the mistakes in the English.
Also a totally irrelevant handover shot of a Princess Flybridge?
Avoid.
I think you’re being a bit harsh, I find the idea of a ‘slightly used’ boat really appealing.....;)

Undoubtedly a scam site. Leave well alone would be my advice.
Interestingly, we recently sold a boat to Denmark ourselves, the buyer called me on Saturday, flew over on Sunday afternoon and visited the boat on Monday, paid on Tuesday and took it away on Friday and was back home in time for dinner on the following Sunday.

Happening quite a lot in the farming world too - high value items. Just last month a guy in Orkney was had for many thousands for a tractor that didn't exist. Similar setup,

No actual company address in Bromsgrove, no land line and describing a 1971 Sailing Boat (Contest) as "Slightly Used" mmmm...Also a boating forum site where nobody knows of them or has dealt with them is pretty conclusive.

The company address on the website matches the accountant's address of the actual company.
I'd guess that the actual company is not related to the website in any way - it's a just a semi-dormant company that a scammer has picked.

Ridiculously low asking prices too to suck you in to the scam... first on the fishing boat page is a 2002 Rodman 800 at £25k - ha if only, that would be a gift. I've been trying to find a Rodman 800/870/940. The 800s are asking more like £45k at that age.

Is there no way of closing scam sites down, or do they simply appear under a different name?

It will get closed down soon enough, but these sites pop up regularly, under different names. Don't know if its the same people behind it, but very likely. They do have some success, as I have spoken to a couple of people who have lost money to previous incarnations. There was a report in the online MoBo mag all about the scam a while back, but I suppose not everyone saw it.
