Boat coatings

Hi
Anyone used one of these new fangled polymer coatings or similar to coat their boat with after T-cutting etc rather than wax. I am interested to know how good/bad/indifferent they were.
Was thinking of something like A-Glaze http://www.marineaglaze.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_2 or similar mainly because it's supposed to last more that a month or two that traditional wax or silicon polishes do.
Mermaid was painted with Awlgrip about 10 years ago if that makes a difference.
Not looking for sparkling finish but something that makes the boat easier to keep clean between lift outs (24 months).

Oo eer Pete, I don't know what sort of Awlgrip I have on my topsides so don't know if I should polish or not. Perhaps I'd better stop!

Stork was Awlgrip 2 pot. I used 3M Renovator and wax, by hand not machine and she cleaned up well and the very hard surface was not damaged. I think provided you don't use a harsh abrasive compound you'll be OK. When you polish do you get white residue on the cloth? If so it is probably Awlgrip 2000 acrylic.

Or just wash it and go sailing.
