Boat causes traffic queue

For correctness... RIIS I, and she's a "Yacht Tender" :D. Some yacht

She was built in 1920 as a 21st birthday present for the daughter of a Scottish shipping company, was used to tow a racing yacht from venue to venue, but i don't think that makes her a tender.

In the grand old days of the “Big Boat” racing I think you will find that that is exactly what the “tender” did.

She's a bit small.

was built as the tender to this:

There are no signs of RIIS being launched yet. She still has her cover on. Mind you it wouldn't take long to get that stuff clear. But its Neaps at the moment so I am not sure there would be enough water.

Me? I'm in on the mooring.

According to a certain Mersea shipwright she's got a bit of rot in the deck...

Well I shall be standing to attention on Sunday morning 27th on Ipswich Haven Marina for the Assoc of Dunkirk Little Ships procession, parade and Drumhead Service (?)
as a representative of Aldeburgh Town Council.
I am thinking this is why it is being launched?

Unfortunately, she will not be launched before then.

No she isn't - well she's on her cradle as she lies all winter as usual. TG was in the strops and cradle blocking the road. Surprisingly she is now floating......
