Has anyone got an idea of the best place to get marine carpets, the carpet in my princess is good quality but has some wear and tear and i want to get new carpet preferably in blue this time but i want the same quality. I also want to get a new matress. The boat has a slightly musty 'caravan smell' and that doesnt work for me I want every thing inside to feel brand new a nd fresh. I have seen 'EVA ' foam carpet advertised on ebay as well for the decks, has anyone used this stuff to check its longevity ?

We got our made to measure spring mattress from Wizard, who are now langandpotter.co.uk. Service and quality great. I think they also do carpet, although we just got synthetic carpet made to measure and with whipped edges when we replaced.

AN-other for synthetic carpet. Even outside in the sports boat cockpit I have a synthetic rug. When it's dirty I just unclip it, hang it over a rail and wash it. Cheap enough to replace if so desired as it costs pennies. Another plus is greater choice in colours and patterns.

We had mattresses made by ship shape bedding. If the mattress you want to replace isn't a standard domestic size, they custom build for you, on ours, they sculpted around the bed surround to make a perfect fit.

Consider Flotex tiles. They come in various qualities and many colours. Easily cut to shape and complex curvatures.
