Boat buying in Croatia

Re: Moral high ground...

So far I haven't yet run into C&E in this coutry.

Howver, two years ago of Dieppe we were boarded by French Douanes - they went trough the whole boat and scrutinised every bit of paperwork. After 90 mins they sent me on my way.

This year was boarded by Belgian Maritime Police in Ostend - same thing. 'Have a nice day'.

So after 2 checks by 2 different EU custom officials it's 2-0 for me.

I have nothing to hide & sleep soundly at night.

Re: Moral high ground...

So the boat is registered with a "company", how do you justify YOU commanding the boat to whatever authority that may ask, that is how do you demonstate title to legally use of the boat? Is this a stupid question?

try "info@registerayacht.com". Gib based, specialise in setting up companies and registering vessels all over the world.

Re: Creative lateral thinking, or the lack of it.

Does it have to be Gibraltar or another sea bordering country?
Or can it be any haven?
