HI All
My home port is Gros Morne, Newfoundland , Canada. Last summer I bought a boat house to add to my tourist cottages that are located on the same property so now it is complete. Ny passion in life is The Traditional Newfoundland motorboat powered by make and break engines or Put PUt's. I have engaged the services of a master boat builder and plan on doing like a learning vacation where as the students live in the cottages, we build the boat of course sail her and the rest of the vacation is bonus. The boats we call them punts or maybe u would call them a skiff using chopped/cut juniper and fir planking measure 21 ft in length usual power 4-6h.p. engine. So I am putting it all together anyone interested e-mail me. I want to start in May with the first at cost to get the bugs out of the course. We are cutting the timbers now and will have some ribs cut to start as 7 days is not a lot of time. u will stay in my cottages they are quite nice and again in Gros Morne located right on the Ocean. So anyone with any info or input please contact me.
