Not me! I have a friend who has given up boating, he has a flybridge Scandinavian boat a four year old Nimbus/Botnia/Nordwest/Storebro type thingy.

Logically these things are at a premium in Norway where from the Channel Islands where there is no VAT these things would sell well.

All he gets is bottom dollar offers from Trade buyers who will pay cash and then import to Norway and sell for top dollar.

Does anyone know of any cosher Norwegian brokers who are active in these type of boats?

got just the same problem but I do remember earlier this year a post on this forum that had a norwegian broker asking for boats,
I did a bit of a search but could not find it

Ask a Norwegian !! ... Me !! ... I can do a quick translation of what you want posted and help you with guidance on how to posting to the site...

Remember that in Noway they'll end up paying;

Purchase Price + Transport + £15 per Hp + 25% VAT .... so may sound like great difference in prices, but when all added up, there may not be that much in it....

Crikey Alf.....theres a few high value plus's in that lot :eek:

Yup Callum ... my home country is not a cheap one to live in... but they seem to get by rather well...

... but the law states that the price you quote is "Delivered, custom cleared and taxes paid" ... so serious room for sellers loss if advertised in Norway without due considerations. Hence use of UK broker is common and let buyer worry about import and local taxes etc.
