New grab rails and a fully charged battery where put on board this weekend but it was raining

No Regrets was recommissioned by Y.T yesterday, which involved:-

1/ Service main engine (Wing ignored, due to three hours of use last season!)

2/ Water system filled, leaks found and repaired bar one (Awaiting boiler part!)

3/ New heater fitted (Old unit on Ebay!) and working beautifully!

4/ Full valet (I keep saying 'Never again'....but...) and looking hot!!

I appear to have been lucky battery-wise, and no other issues to report! Yet...


Next week we have a mini cruise to Windsor, to make sure she's fault free for the Bray fitting out cruise, and to fit the heater part. (Credit to Morco, a simple phone call and the part is going to be with me on Monday, and no more than 10 minutes to fit either!!)

Yep, just popping down to double check prop seal adjustment, and make sure everything stands a couple of hours use without unexpected failures!

Well the cruise is informally called the 'Shakedown cruise' but it would be jolly rotten to fail even at that stage eh?
