Boat Audio

I`m Going the Wireless Way

I have just aquired one of these.....

http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/products/22/121/61/DEH-2220UB/index.html

..and using the pre-amp out I am going to feed the audio into the transmitter of a set of these:-

http://www.aqudos.com/product/AQ-Wireless_Speakers-Beech/product_details/

This means I can move the speakers around between the main saloon, the cockpit, the forepeak and the rear cabin.....or if its not too far...even the beach.

The transmitter will be powered from the auto aerial power feed of the head unit....and the speakers can be powered by either 12 volts or AA batteries. They are mounted on the bulkheads in each of the areas using 3M Dual Lock....or can be free standing on their own `feet`or latched onto screws

They don`t sound bad for their size to me....but at my age, I`ve probably lost quite a few frequencies in the higher range anyway.

863 MHz to 865 MHz is also used for wireless microphones. So with any luck you might get voiceovers by a local DJ :)
