Boat ashore, dehumidifier or heater?

Me too! I've never had a boat out of the water in the winter. And I like to use it occasionally in the winter too.

well hats off to you as you are hardier than me.

i do use the boat a lot, nearly 500 hours in 18 months. Mobo average is 80 per year I read somewhere. But I like it to feel nice when I arrive.

Best and cheapest in my view.
Very green no doubt, but humidity levels around a boat afloat are higher than around a boat ashore in my experience, and in would be very hard for me to leave my boat sufficiently open to allow drying out during sunny periods without compromising its security. If I leave a dehumidifier, I can leave my bedding, upholstery and electronics without worry. In the olden days, we used to take everything home in the winter - and then find room in the house to store it!
