Contessa 26 ?
Nice looking boat. No damage hopefully .
NW wind must have built quite a fetch down the Orwell for moorings up to Levington.
I wonder if MDL moved any boats at Woolverstone .
Definitely a Halmatic 30, we owned one for about 10 years, should come up OK. I suppose it is possible the cockpit could flood through the drains and overflow into the bilge through the access hatch in the cockpit floor if it was not well sealed? She looks a bit bigger than a Contessa, and her windows are 'wrong'.
I'd guess a Halmatic 30?
Whatever she is, let's hope she went down, and comes up, without any real damage.

Hope all goes well. Anyone know where she was moored? There are several on the river, but I cannot recall a dark blue one with red sails and spray hood.
On the local Coastguard Facebook page they identify it as having come off a mooring at SYH.
Badly maintained mooring ????Is that classed as an Act of God, an uncontrollable event? IE. You have to claim on your own insurance as the other party was not responsible for the damage.
If his yacht did not stay on his mooring, I fail to see how it was not his faultIt may be 'badly maintained' but you might not be able to prove it, hence have to claim on your own insurance?

Sorry for the drift.
Worth watching the Billy Connolly film "The Man who Sued God"....When we got weather damage and Act of God was mentioned.
Our daughter who is a claims specialist suggested, “God don’t own boats‼“
The insurers paid in full.?
