I would agree with you but also shocked at how many expensive boats just have and endless amount of exterior and no interior, or 11 of the twelve pics are of nasa electronics and one bad shot of the boat.

Some people are just bloody thick, no more or less to it than that.

TBH, pictures of a used boat don't tell you much, except the bad taste of the current owner.
If people know the model, they all look the same apart from the clutter.
You can rule out a few boats with offensive upholstery and that's about it.

Unless someone is trying quite hard to show up the defects.

I find looking at interior photos I can see plenty of things that show work is needed. If there is foam backed headlining, it may be perfect but you can also see if it has been reglued or temporary fixings added or it just droops. Internal woodwork can look tired or have water damage or even lifting veneers. Are there lots of old screw holes from removed redundent equipment. If you are familiar with a particular design, has the interior been altered or are there any wear and tear to the upholstery, or is there a clash of interior colour coordination.

I can see past any untidyness - unless it is hiding something the owner does not want anyone to see.
