One of my (two) plastic clips that hold the foldable boarding ladder in the "upright" folded position has gone and busted - plastic gone brittle. Cant be long before the other one goes.

Where would I get one? (or two). It fits round one tube (17mm) and is held in place with a screw. The ladder then folds onto the other half of the clip and clicks in place to hold the three pieces of the ladder on my bathing platform.

Damn - wish I had a picture...thanks in advance chaps.

Re: Tedious ladder plastic clip thingies

Can't you fashion something from normal plumbing pipe clips, they have stuff to hold twin pipes parallel in the merchants, or shape a wall clip to screw to the fixed part of the ladder.

The clips on my ladder are quite clever, the ladder is made by aqua something, the one which has an octopus logo, they may do spares, if about go have a look.

Have a look in a bike shop for the plastic clips that hold pumps on to the crossbar. Probably only available in black but should suit - they are designed to hold one 1" plastic tube (bike pump) to another (bike crossbar). Should only be a couple of squid.

Dave, I have some white plastic pipe clips that may do.I can post to you if you wish. f.o.c. They may be easier to modify, if it is neccessary, than carving one out of a bread board.

Brilliant, I will remember that for future jobs, it may even solve my danbuoy conundrum.
